100% Pure Golden Jojoba Oil

(Simmondsia chinensis)

Product of Argentina

Jojoba oil is known as the “Miracle Oil” and “Super Food” due to its anti-aging, hair repair, sebum balancing capabilities, plus has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Jojoba oil is actually composed of liquid wax esters rather than oil.

Jojoba oil contains many important nutrients, it is packed with antioxidants, super rich in  vitamin E,  rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, plus contains the minerals copperzinc, selenium, silicon, chromium and iodine.

Understanding the formation of wrinkles

Our body natural sebum contains wax esters which act as a sort of natural moisturizer and environmental barrier for the skin keeping our skin plump and moisturized in our youth. As we get older our bodies wax ester production steadily decreases, causing the skin to appear dull and emphasizing wrinkles.

Benefits of Jojoba Oil for skin

The molecular structure of jojoba is very similar to the skin’s natural sebum, both contain wax esters, because of this it has a natural affinity to the skin and is easily absorbed.

In dermatological tests done, using jojoba oil, by Christensen and Packman, it was shown that Jojoba oil increases the skin’s suppleness by 45% plus softens and smoothes the skin with fine line reduction. Reduction of such lines was 26%, 18% and 11% after 1, 4, and 8 hours of conducted tests. Continued use of jojoba oil results in reducing superficial facial lines.

Acne & Psoriasis

According to Leda Hadady, author of the book "Asian Health Secrets," Jojoba Oil actually dissolves the sebum that clogs your pores, which gives you relief from acne and allows your skin to breathe more effectively.

Tests at Michigan University showed that five of the most common skin bacteria plus certain skin fungi couldn’t survive in Jojoba oil.

Professor Zille of Port Elizabeth University carried out studies on the anti-bacterial effects of jojoba oil and the results were presented at a Coshem Congress held in Mintek, which found that jojoba oil destroys the bacteria staphylococcus and pseudomonas within 1 hour and 15 minutes

In its 2002 book "Jojoba: New Crop for Arid Lands, New Raw Material for Industry," the National Research Council notes that acne treatments containing jojoba oil may slow the outbreak of skin breakouts arising from acne.

The International Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical and Biosciences 2013, 3(1): 1-16 states “Jojoba oil is of value in management of Acne and Psoriasis”.

Studies on jojoba oil at the Ben Gurion University in Israel have shown jojoba relieves the symptoms of psoriases.

Benefits of Jojoba Oil for Hair

Due to the molecular structure of jojoba oil it has the capability of penetrating individual hair follicles providing amazing benefits. It strengthens, hydrates hair follicle while reducing hygral fatigue (the swelling and shrinking of hair as it gets wet and dries that can weaken the hair follicle over time). Jojoba oil also adds shine, elasticity, volume and softness from the inside out while locking in moisture reducing hair breakage, it helps repair split ends plus helps prevent dandruff.
